Colts 11u Travel Football

ATLANTA COLT D1 TACKLE FOOTBALL

Atlanta Colt D1 Football ($380.00 Until July 4th, $430.00 July 5th - August 4th)

The Atlanta Colts are members of North West Georgia Youth Football League

COLT D1 tackle football is for players from 2nd to 7th grades interested in playing tackle football with other teams within Atlanta Colts/Murphy Candler park

Teams are selected by coach draft out of players interested in playing Colt D1 travel football.
All players should attend evaluations the end of July. First 3 nights are helmet only.
The ACYA Board of Directors reserves the right to require that certain players move between leagues or divisions for safety purposes. Such players will be given the option of a full refund if they then choose not to participate.
4th-7th Grade teams have a 3 event per week commitment.
Games are played on Saturdays at Murphy Candler or other Metro Atlanta parks
Atlanta Colts supplies game jersey, shoulder pads and a helmet.
Team dues average $60-$80 per player.

TACKLE EVALUATION DATES

All players interested in trying out for Intraleague Teams MUST attend Tryouts the following dates:

TRYOUT AGENDA FOR COLT TRAVEL FOOTBALL

AUGUST 4th - DAY ONE - 6:30 - 8:30pm
- Each player needs to check in & sign required football & COVID-19 liability waivers.
- Record weight of each player.
- Perform shuttle run, broad jumps, 30/40 yard sprints, corner box drill, 3 cone pro drill.
- Separate larger kids & skilled kids into groups.

AUGUST 5th - DAY TWO (HELMET ONLY) - 6:30 - 8:30pm
- 3 point stance, dummies work (high knees, front & side)
- Block drill, tackling dummies skill drills for RB-WR-QB
- Lots of conditioning

AUGUST 6th - DAY THREE (FULL PADS) - 6:30 - 8:30pm
- Basics to include tackle & Sumo training drills
- More conditioning
